Nope.

Nostalgia good

New bad

The benefit of being IT at work is that I’m also in charge of the filter. I’m even allowed to setup a VPN tunnel to access my home network, but then again, you can do that sort of thing with an 8-employee company.

Aren’t we all?

Surely an 8th Seth McFarlane comedy will resolve this issue

I’ve used Linux for about 15 years and I hate the shit out of it. I’ll keep using it though if it means less Windows.

After Windows 10 drops support, the only proprietary system left will be my Mac which I use for music. I’ll be damned if I’m going to try and get Ableton Live running in Wine with low latency. I really wish it wasn’t like that’s though.

I did machining inspection for a while and would be dealing constantly with hundreds of data points. Using the table functions on my TI-84 was a godsend. Everyone was writing answers down and transcribing when I joined.

I’m a dingus and can’t read. I’ll leave my comment in case someone else finds it useful anyway.

I don’t know if it’s a premium feature or not, but this is native to YouTube under playback settings. It automatically goes to pip when you switch apps.

This right here is why the public mod log is one of the best things on the internet.

I have to reject any that don’t make the cut.

This is only my test picture. I’ll be posting a full album from my DSLR later next week.

It is insane just how big these events are and how surprisingly well organized everything has been. Really impressed overall with how alive everything has been.

I had earplugs plus noise canceling headphones on and the engines were still clear as day. Absolutely insane how fast they go. GA is sat right around the sphere and it’s a pretty heavy breaking zone. Even then, trying to track the cars for a good shot proved really challenging. Definitely pushed my skills.

And totally unrelated, but I also learned OneRepublic is responsible for like 90% of the modern pop radio that I hate. So that was fun to sit through…

I’ll be going to see the Las Vegas GP. I’ve never been to a Formula 1 race and don’t know what to expect from the days surrounding the race. Are there any tips you wish you knew before going the first time? I plan on going to the full race weekend and not sure what to bring to make my stay more comfortable. Also, any tips on stops I should make in that area of Vegas while I’m there?
