I've been trying a rolled up towel but it gets soaked and falls into the tub if I lean forward.

Twist the towel like you’re about to snap somebody with it.

Then curl it around in the shape of a ring at the back of your head and lean back into the hole in the center.

Do it tight enough and it should stay as long as you don’t lean forward. You can always hold it closed when you do though

Oh, THIS towel advice gets love, sure, I see how it is. Towelists.

Pillows are great
Pillows are good
But towels are there and are easy to use

You can also use a pool noodle to line the bottom part of your door if there's a gap so you can keep the bathroom nice and steamy.

Mold loves this simple tip

You guys don't have mandatory ventilation holes in the door?

There are ones of various shapes that suction cup to the wall or tub.

"What kind of pillow for this?"

"There are pillows like this."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is probably the better idea. Hang it on the tile from above, it hangs at the perfect spot for your head.

I believe they also make bathtub adhesive strips as an alternative to suction.

This is the one I bought not too long ago. I have a similar bath setup as you and was looking to solve the same issue you're describing. So far no complaints. https://a.co/d/grkdDxF

Find the architect and destroy them

[–] guyrocket@kbin.social 6 points 8 months ago

NO.

Seriously...try one of those silly inflatable pillows for flying. But be ready for some headbanging!

[–] Weirstone@midwest.social 5 points 8 months ago

Is there anything above that point you could run string around down to a rolled up towel? You could keep the towel rolled up and out of the water pretty cheap and easy!

We had such a thing when I was a kid. Which has been a few decades ago, though, so no current pointers.

My friend...

My friend...

Listen to me...

A big fluffy towel...

Dip in water...

Then fold it...

Then put...

Put behind your head...

Forgive them, Father...

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago (1 children)

But they specifically mentioned their problems with a towel and your solution basically just says "use a towel"

[–] anarchy79@lemmy.world 0 points 8 months ago

Their problem was that they felt it was a problem that the towel got wet, while the very solution was to accept the wet towel.

For some people this is a massive cognitive step, shame on you for belittling them for being slow!
