Unfortunately it isn't available in Canada

Strictly for commuting, rechargeable, nothing fancy. Doesn't need insane runtimes, just something reasonable for commuting that I can afford to buy and give several of them away. :)

Hahaha it was a container holding new litter whuch was literally just clay pellets.

I want to give away some bike lights. Does anybody have recommendations on some low cost bike lights?

Tasty to snack on radishes

I'm seeing many ponchos with hand loops and a waist strap so it doesn't fly up. AFAIK, they are more breathable.

Do you have a link? I'm only seeing regular ponchos, nothing bike-specific.

Edit: found it https://www.decathlon.ca/en/p/8759248/city-cycling-rain-poncho-100-black

I would like to ride more in the rain. What are some of this community's preferences around rain ponchos?

I like them for road biking but would prefer a mechanical pump for a commuter bike due to reliability and being able to change infinite flats.

I carry a spare tube, so I need a way to inflate it.

I have had rides ruined because of a friend not carrying a spare tube or a way to inflate it.

This sounds handy, however I'm prioritizing reliability which is hard to beat with a mechanical pump.

Does anyone have any recommendations for tiny bike pumps to keep on my commuter? Durability is preferred, but I don't want to break the bank if it gets stolen.

Any oil will work. I used canola.

Does the coffee bother your gums? :o

I plan to snack on them, but a search online showed them served sauteed with egg on toast. I imagine that avocado would work as well. Not sure how common it is in France though.

I repotted my sugar snap peas into a larger upcycled kitty litter container that I found in a dumpster. There was plenty of space, so I added radishes that only take 23 days to mature to maximize my use of space. What are your favourite companion plants?

I have had earwigs eating my balcony garden crops, so I decided to try a solution I found online: add 50/50 soy sauce and oil to a container and leave it overnight. It was filled with earwigs the next morning! So I am setting up another trap with an empty tofu dessert container.

That being said, earwigs aren't universally bad. They help decompose plant material in a compost pile. However on my balcony, they were doing more harm than good. The ladybugs can stay :P

I had filled a pot with seedlings, so the nursery pots I found at the side of the road came in handy today. I split them into their own pots which I will give away to friends and family once they grow larger.

My goal is to grow marigolds from seed for the first time to enjoy their summer blooms and repel pests from my veggies.
