It most certainly will be a comedy, and I am up for it. It's ironic how the episodes with emotionless Vulcans are so god-damn funny. The last episode with the body swap was a masterclass in writing. Passive aggressiveness has never been this fun.

And this "Previously on" was also not actually that useful/needed.

Is this going to get fixed soon? This is massively misleading for new people who think that this sub isn't active.

Earlier I tried to post something and it only even allows me to pick Undermined only when creating the post. I couldn't even choose English.

Thanks.

Rowan J Coleman's Star Trek Retrospective series is superb and is what made his YouTube channel famous. He has now branched to other SciFi movies too which are equally interesting.

It's unfortunate that he said that he won't have in depth retrospectives about new Trek series but hopefully he'll change his minds when series like Discovery will end.

I agree. SNW has a really strong cast, and great writers. The show truly can be episodic without referencing any previous canon and still be fantastic and even appreciated more by new watchers of Star Trek.

Toronto passing as New York for characters was so meta and hilarious.

Regarding Nurse Chapel almost dying - this is one of the TV/movie tropes that I think is such a cheap and terrible device and I am tired of it. Discovery was full of these scenes where they make you believe a main character really almost died, only to survive after all, and having their crew mates weep for them (I am looking at you Burnham). There are much better ways to create good drama.
