But is his promise note actually a promissory note? Or is it some sovcit bullshit to avoid banks?

I can't find verification for this one, I'll admit. But I have no doubt the IDF would, as they've killed plenty of Innocents at this point. Which makes it a bold move to call them the good guys, Cotton.

At first I thought by ICE you meant immigration cops, which also works.

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried.

It's almost like the game is rigged on their favor.

Yup. Being at the store is just a guessing game until the tax gets added. And then I just swipe the card lol

Hard agree with metric for the most part. I forever stand by Fahrenheit for temperatures you experience, and Celsius for science. I don't want to have to use decimals in my everyday life, but that's just me

And really, K is the ideal temperature unit for scientific purposes, since there's actually a hard starting point, rather than picking an arbitrary state change at an arbitrary pressure of a kind of arbitrary compound.

Well damn. A fair and nuanced explanation. On the internet, no less. Hadn't thought about that before. Gonna have to readjust some opinions.

But who will think of the shareholders? They're the real victims.

A perfect score... I thought it was but a legend.

Tell that to folks having to work three jobs to provide for their family. The concept of the minimum wage was to provide enough wages for people to support their families (on a single income no less) with a forty hour work week. Now, there isn't a single state where you can afford an average apartment on a minimum wage job. Saying 'youre paid what you're worth' is just a fancy way of saying some people don't deserve essentials in a post scarcity society.

But yeah, we can just let kids work to add a third income to the household. That'll solve it.

Loving the client. None of the Lemmy interfaces I've tried have been nearly as intuitive or easy on the eyes. The overall user experience is far better than the others. Great work as always!

I haven't run into any problems or bugs so far, but I'll make sure to post here if I do.

Was a happy Boost user for Reddit and now I get to be happy here. Well worth contributing the three dollars for no adds. Great way to support development too!
