She's on crack, forgetting a bit is forgivable

She might be, how could you know she's not

Mostly the murder. Murder is generally frowned upon.

Curse this mortality, amiright fellow human?

Dihydrogen monoxide?

Monoxide means one oxygen which means free radical, which is basically what car thieves are too. So you're right, clearly all this wanton consumption of this chemical must be stopped.

What's your objection to Proton? You don't have to use any of the other products, and the free tier is perfectly usable last I checked (granted many years ago). Not sure what your concern is

Edit: downvoting without replying doesn't tell us what the concern is. Y'all weird

Why are there so many comments engaging with this as though it’s a post by a human instead of an ad

[–] totallynotarobot@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

It’s not the AI trying to blend in.

Trust me, fellow human.

Are you saying you can’t just declare Judaism the way you declare bankruptcy?

The vivomove is my daily, but for many outdoor activities I'd be literally lost without the GPS forerunner!

Also they seem to be one of the lesser evils for those who care about personal data collection and brokerage.

Garmin vivomove.

Analog face, and a wee display that tells you whether you want to look at your phone when it buzzes. Counts steps and stuff if you're into that. Week of battery (still 5-7 days after like 5-6 years of owning mine). Perfect daily wear.

When they say "copyrighted by Warner bros" they actually mean "created by a costume designer, production designer, lighting designer, cinematographer, photographer or camera operator, makeup artist, hairdresser, and their respective crews who were contractually employed by Warner bros but get no claim to their work," right?

Have just noticed that when I long press a community name in feed, it shows the “unsubscribe” option for all communities, whether I’m subscribed or not. I don’t know when this started happening; I haven’t had occasion to see it for a while before today.

Am I crazy? Anyone else seeing this?

Am gizmo shopping and would like some smart door locks. Figured y’all might have some recommendations on things that play nice with Home Assistant if networked, and generally don’t suck.

Features I think I want (but open to opinions/suggestions):

  • physical key backup in addition to numerical keypad
  • rfid so we can use our lovely magic rings
  • enough distinct keypad codes that 4 family members and maybe half a dozen others can get their own
  • not fugly (current door hardware is black)
  • cheap enough that I can get 3 of them and still eat this month
  • I’m wary of Bluetooth, but that might be a holdover from old versions that used to be insecure af. Not really up on it any more from a security standpoint.

Any of the above can be compromised on if my assumptions are wrong. Open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I'm shopping for a new car, and would like to choose one made with the least bad labour practices, if possible.

My reading suggests there is literally no good choice, but curious if anyone here has a perspective that could inform my choice.

Is there any car company that shits on their workers less and/or chooses contractors/vendors that shit on their workers less than the rest? Or are we just doomed to drive around the blood sweat and tears of exploited persons?

Shopping in America.

Edit: New to me. Used just as likely.

Hello, trying liftoff for the first time and my “subscribed” feed and “blocks” tab are both empty, though they should be heavily populated.

Known bug?

(Also sorry if this has been asked/answered, voyager doesn’t have a search community posts feature!)
