I have the same issue with my switch, I usually mash the button for its port on my receiver remote until the other devices give up but about 10% of the time that refuses to work and I have to redock.

You shouldn't have to lock your doors to feel safe but in both cases, bad actors ruin it for everyone.

Thinking quickly, Generative AI constructs a playable version of Doom, using only some string, a squirrel, and a playable version of Doom.

Burnout is a symptom of exploitation but not all burnout comes from exploitation. You can burn out from non-work activities like caregiving. You can burn out as a business owner or a member of a worker-owned co-op. You can burn out at a job that only expects healthy hours because you're an overachiever who refuses to take time off.

I guess they aren't aware that Big Lots starts putting up Christmas stuff at the beginning of October.

It's pretty common not to have heard of his works, Astro Boy is the only one that made it over to the West but it's never gotten a ton of attention. I remember the 2003 series got some play on Saturday mornings and Toonami but it was really short-lived.

Pluto which came out on Netflix late last year is a reinterpretation of an Astro boy arc that's done fairly well.

MAPPA also made a great anime adaptation of Dororo a few years ago but it mostly flew under the radar.

I just like having a mini tablet on me all the time. The big screen is great for playing games and watching shows when you're on public transit.

We're on the sixth generation of folding sceens, they're far from prototype tech by now.

I've been using a z fold3 since it came out. I've had to replace the screen once (under warranty) and replace the stock screen protectors but I still love it and plan to get another foldable whenever it kicks the bucket.

the crease is extremely noticeable and is filled with dust and debris

Your relative needs his screen protector replaced. Some people just take it off and live dangerously.

A good post about automated testing in games by Rare developer Jessica Baker. She also has a follow-up post about unit test here: https://jessicabaker.co.uk/2020/10/19/how-to-write-great-unit-tests/
