At least I feel like I’m heard here. I posted comments so many times on Reddit and I rarely get any engagement. It feels like talking to yourself among an absurdly large and loud crowd.

I take it this is just a hypothetical situation. Eventually it will be case.

It was always clear that VR, 3D, blockchain were fads. But AI is already useful as is. The hype may not be as high in the future but AI is here to stay.

I don’t even think it is the ex-PI’s fault. Once you retire, you’re done. It’s been 2 years. The university should tracking this issue and ask a current employee to address it.
