The US didn't propose a ceasefire yet. In response to this ceasefire proposal they've said they're working on a draft for a proposal. With an indeterminate ceasefire of indeterminate length to start at an indeterminate date.

But strangely, once actual dates and times get proposed, they bring out the veto.

One could argue that it sure looks like they're trying to muddy the waters and give Israel cover.

I'm guessing Israel wasn't bombing hostages. Although that guess has been wrong a lot.

“Even if Israeli forces had intended to target legitimate military objectives in the vicinity, these attacks evidently failed to distinguish between military objectives and civilian objects and would therefore be indiscriminate,” Amnesty International said in the report. “Indiscriminate attacks that kill and injure civilians are war crimes.”

Sanction Ben-Gvir

It's wild watching Democrats doing everything they can to repeat 2016. Now it's "Bidenomics" says the economy's great, why won't you listen to us? Appointing a special counsel that releases a report about illegally storing classified material that says Biden's too forgetful to have had intent. Instead of collapsing at a 9/11 memorial, Biden's had 4 major incidents with his memory in the space of a week. Biden's net favorability of -17 is lower than Hillary hit even after the Comey report. DNC removing candidates from the primary ballot that they're scared of. Next thing you know, we're going to find out Biden never stopped in Wisconsin for the 2024 campaign.

The Florida Democratic Party's executive committee voted to cancel their primary at the end of October 2023 and declare Biden the winner

The Tennessee Democratic Party decided to list only Biden as a ballot option for its primary after a November 11 meeting

The North Carolina Democratic Party acknowledged receiving requests for ballot access from Phillips and other candidates, but chose to only include Biden for its primary

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin left Phillips off the ballot; he appealed to the Wisconsin Supreme Court on January 26, 2024. The court unanimously ruled on February 2 that Phillips should be included on the ballot.

Rafah is pretty much the last place for people to go, that's why 3/4ths of the population is there at this point. There aren't any "safe zones".

The U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) estimates that the city’s population has grown to at least 1.4 million, more than five times its prewar count, with thousands of people sleeping in tents with little protection.

That's nearly 3/4ths of the whole population of the Gaza Strip at this point.

Democrats’ stunning turn-around on U.S.-provided funding for UNRWA is a triumph for hard-right activists and Republican lawmakers who have long sought to undermine the U.N. agency.

MBFC rating for The Telegraph:

Factual Reporting: MIXED

MBFC Credibility Rating: MEDIUM CREDIBILITY

Overall, we rate The Telegraph Right Biased based on story selection that strongly favors the right and Mixed for factual reporting due to poor sourcing of information and some failed fact checks.

Keep it civil please, and engage in good faith.

Al Mayadeen is not Hezbollah funded, no matter how many conspiracies people try to make up.

Should I bring up all the genocide denial in your post history? Claims that "Hamas uses teenage soldiers extensively"? Do you still think most people in the World News community here "seem to not consider Israeli's as human"?

No matter how many reports you use to try to hide genocide, the truth will still come out.

The factuality rating is the same as they've rated many other sources such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, Salon, Daily Beast, Boing Boing, etc. The ratings are fairly skewed.

Even your rating site says they've not failed any fact checks.

And Ben-Gvir is still the National Security Minister, completely untouched.

But at least he finally took down his tribute to a mass killer that's been hanging in his home for decades. Small steps, right? I wonder if he ever gave Rabin's hood ornament back.

Quite an interesting contrast between how the US dealt with Soleimani vs. Ben-Gvir.
