I suppose the truecrypt successor veracrypt would work well for this, it is available on all 3 platforms which probably makes it stand out from most other solutions.

The crazy part is most of Germany doesn’t even have cable, at least 40% of the country do only have PTSN connections for slow DSL and Satellite for TV.

So even the plan to bring cable to everyone never came to fruition.

DOCSIS 3.0 cable would be a godsend for millions of Germans.

The answer is fair taxes. Unfortunately 90% of governments are controlled by the super rich and they also control the media which promotes false narratives about trickle down economics and migrant boogeymen.
