I was listening to a Hard Fork, the NYT tech podcast and they made a good point. Billionaires like him can have anything they want, so they have nothing else to chase for other than the high of people reacting to their antics.

"Slow down for a moment, tackle one thing at a time" helps a lot when I'm anxious and overwhelmed.

That's pretty cool. Other than the 90s see through colourful laptops (which I think I'm only fond of because of nostalgia), I also miss those black and white MacBook designs of.the 2000s. Good to see black Mac is making a come back.

Not sure if it's a small thing but I think I would change it so good deeds make a bigger impression on people than the bad.

It's a bit of a rainbow sunshine kind of wish but it's human nature to remember bad things easier than the good, it's a survival instinct to protect ourselves. But with all these conflicts and discrimination, big or small, if people don't let fear dominate, everyone would cut each other more slack.

Of course this requires everyone to have the same mindset to work, that's why I think making that small change in human nature at its core is the only way, and only a genie could pull that off.

I think they are scared shitless

I don't know... I wouldn't be surprised considering they threatened one million Gaza residents to evacuate within which is unachievable. They are already trigger happy. I wouldn't put it past them. That said I don't trust either side.

Apparently like this:

Bible SpoilerJesus dies in the Bible!

To appear like this:

Bible SpoilerJesus dies in the Bible!

Line breaks are a must. It seems like some apps like Voyager doesn't support spoiler tags so you may need to look again in the browser if this doesn't look right.

The Walking Dead. Twice.

First time was when a coworker was telling me how good second season was and I should give it another shot. I ended up binging it then later talked to him about how shocking it was when it was revealed

spoileryou'd turn no matter how you die.
Turns out he hadn't finished the season yet.

Second time was the third season when

spoilerMerle died. I was rewatching it with someone and when Merle was acting all heroic before his rogue suicide mission, I commented that it's such a trope when a hated character do something uncharacteristically selfless before they die so they could make us feel something for them in the last minute. In my weak defence, when I watched it for the first time, I thought it was pretty clear it was a suicide mission, but apparently it is not.

As someone who never understood the hype with sloths and find them incredibly creepy, I feel so validated.

Japan is amazing to visit but I would never live there. There is an incredible amount of discrimination that is normalised in the society.

As a POC, I am not surprised, but I was still optimistic because there was no way to vote "no" without looking like a racist cunt. Well turns out Australia has no problem with looking like a bunch of racist cunts.
