Brilliant idea for a universal front end. If the user experience is seamless so that the hosting service doesn't matter that would be such a good way to transition to freer platforms

The whole situation is the result of Israel's land theft, apartheid, suffocating blockade on Palestinians in the first place.

Something I'm aware of but try not to think about

It's not a petty matter at all, It's not possible to formally recognise both countries. RoC has territorial claim over the entire Chinese mainland. The one China policy is the bedrock for every country's diplomatic ties with China. Americans really are a people obsessed with war.

Do you support the US ceasing diplomatic relations with PRC in favour of ROC and going back to the time before Nixon made rapprochement?

I thought this was a portrait of Adolf Hitler with a pride flag background at first glance 😂

IMO this article is kind of misrepresenting what this story is actually about for the purposes of fitting it into the global "China bad" narrative. It's a domestic political issue about corruption of state level politics, really not anything of interest to a global audience. There was clearly a wide range of aspects to the corruption but the most significant aspect was pork barrelling and misallocation of government grants. None of the domestic reporting in Australia is telling this as a "China bad" story, despite the fact that Australian media absolutely loves telling "China bad" stories. That should tell you something I think.

You seem to have sidestepped the point of this video which is the immense and horrific human cost which any kind of war, even minor, places on people in the region. I find these mental wargames you're playing a bit tonedeaf in this context.

Great reporting, solidarity to those Filipinos protesting against US presence in Philippines, I truly hope war doesn't come to your shores.
