I call that Cthulhu bites. I don't know what they put in that but the cats will sell their souls, my soul and the kid next door's soul for those snacks. And we could hide a variety of stuff in them. They also make a chewy snack with a soft center that was excellent for hiding small pills.

Yeah and the elitism. Like I am knitting for a friend's baby no freaking way am I going to make it with a silk merino blend when I know my friend can only machine wash and tumble dry clothes... And that was before they had a tiny human. Some of the local groups were up in arms that I used ACRYLICS quell horror but dude I make kids toys and they literally drag my toys through a mud bath and three years later it's still in one piece and loved. I do have the budget now for the nicer stuff but when I started out, not so much. And you know what a silk is nice but sometimes... I want a shitty fluffy machine washable plush yarn. Fiber people gotta chill and remember at the end of the day we are playing with sticks and string. Be nice.
So I am a baby gamer. My husband is a big gamer and has been trying to get me into it for years but his games are intimidating on a level he doesn't understand because a lot of the interfaces are hard if you didn't grow up with them. And I don't like a lot of scary battles or waves of enemies. I just wanna explore and at the beginning platforming was freaking hard as I just wasn't precise enough with jumps.
If it's in budget, I would recommend the switch as I've found a ton of games I've gelled with and have grown with me a bit. Get a pro controller and that was super easy to get used to, WADS controller have a learning curve I've never personally mastered. Hubby also has a steam deck I've stolen on occasion but I like the cute and cozy games in switch. The steam store is great but overwhelming too..
Current games I'm playing, unpacking, Stardew and Disney dream light valley (I'm not even a huge Disney fan but I am over 200 hours in on this sucker). I have played animal crossing, Gris, costume quest, monkey island, and Luigi mansion (that one was a challenge for me). I have Veneba, coral island, short hike, little to the left and ooblets on my want to play list.
I would also say that YouTube has helped me find games. If you look up cozy games, I find a ton of reviews and let's plays that kinda help me get a better idea on if I'd be interested or if it's kinda in my play style before I waste my money. I do have a limited gaming budget so, I like to be sure before I spend.. Nothing is more discouraging then dropping money on a stinker game that you can't get the hang of. Granted watching reviews and playthroughs is kinda becoming it's own hobby.
I saw a woman being grabbed and angry whispered at the fair. She looked scared and was much smaller than the guy. She had three kids and it was just awful to watch.
But it was in a crowd, and no one was reacting. We locked eyes and to my shame I didn't do anything. Not an excuse, but I am a smaller woman, I had my kid with me and my husband who is larger was in another area of the fair. I felt scared if that man was comfortable doing that to her, openly , in public and in front of the kids, would be hit me if I tried to intervene? And how to intervene? Would I make it worse for her. I couldn't figure out what to do, so I did nothing. By the time my husband got back, I had lost sight of them.
I still remember the two youngest kids, around my daughter's age, being unphased, but the older kid looking scared and embarrassed. The woman looking resigned and sad. It really bothers me and I always thought I would stand up on that situation.
Avocados, bread and cheese. Also they will do anything for chicken nuggets.
Unfortunately, I also own a tiny human as well, whose preferred diet also consists of the same things and has a short attention span. The cats adore tiny human as she is a source of unguarded treats.
The struggle is real.
God help me as tiny human just found out about avocado toast with shredded Parmesan..... The cats are thrilled.
This movie has caused my husband's ability to pick the comedies to be in question, not only in our relationship but among three other couples. If he says "it's a great black comedy" he now has to describe how it is not like this movie. In his words, he knew he fucked up when he was the only one laughing and it looked over to see the dudes looking nonplussed and is girls looking at him in disapproval and shock.
Only question I have is is there exceptions? I know a few kids with some medical conditions like diabetes that have monitors that synch to their phone to control medication or send alerts.... Wonder how they are going to address those situations. Otherwise, I could see the benefits on a smart phone ban during school hours. I just wonder how they are going to administer that.
