I'm glad that the medical world is finally starting to catch up and study the effects of medication on women's bodies. Studies like this absolutely piss me off to no end, because our complaints of pain/side effects are frequently dismissed and ignored. There's a long way to go to end the sex gap in health care but we will get there eventually.

Okay fucking THANK YOU. I remember that movie being absolute shit and I would have walked out if I wasn't on a date with someone I was super into, but that was an absolutely terrible hot mess of a movie and it felt like all of my friends loved the movie and I'm like are you sure this is the same movie???!?!

Do you need to download an anti-virus for Android? (lemmy.world)
 

So my workplace is mostly iPhone users and someone asked me what kind of antivirus software I used on my Android, and I said "none" and he flipped out about how unsafe it was. Other people chimed in saying how all androids need antivirus apps and I've never heard of such a thing. I do have ad-blockers and a VPN but never downloaded an antivirus. Should I? If so, what would you recommend? Thanks lemmings, love you.

Merry Happy! I posted a few days ago asking for help with a prelit tree that had entire portions not lighting up, or flickering like crazy. It was a crack tree situation and I could not find anything helpful on my own and you wonderful people came together and saved Christmas/ yamainwitch-mas. I was literally ready to just throw it out and have a festivus pole. You guys are the absolute best. A thousand thank yous! Sorry I don't have a crack tree before picture for you, I was too embarrassed lol. Lemmy is the best 🀩✨

Where to find replacement light bulbs for artificial Christmas Tree? (lemmy.world)
 

Dearest lemmings, I have a prelit Costco tree that changes from warm white to color and several of the lights are out but I cannot for my life find a replacement anywhere. I called Costco/Polygroup (company that made the tree) and they don't sell replacement led light bulbs but they gave me these specs: LED dual color 3mm Green Base 20MA 1.8-2.4V or 2.8-3.6V. I tried buying a set of lights at Home Depot but they did not fit and my google-fu is failing me.
