We all try to make the lemmy fediverse active by posting interesting content! It's currently painful to share a picture I just took. I would love to share it easily.

Currently :

• I take a picture
• I select "share..." in the iOS menu
• I send it to myself as an email to resize it (otherwise it will be rejected because it's too heavy)
• I save the picture in my photos
• I launch a lemmy app
• I go to the right community
• I create a new post
• I browse the photo library to get the picture

What I would love :

• I take a picture
• I select "share..." in the iOS menu, I find a lemmy app
• I am ready to select the community
• (The lemmy app resizes the picture for me)

I know that it is not an easy feature to implement. However, the lemmy fediverse would gain activity from it.

Also : it's less painful, but sharing an URL directly from the browser would also be a must.

Je tente de relancer des challenges pour progresser dans l'usage des IA génératives d'images comme StableDiffusion, Midjourney, Dall-e mini, etc.

C'est une compétence de trouver les bons mots pour obtenir ce qu'on veut. Au même titre que faire des recherches google. J'ai pas mal progressé en essayant de résoudre des challenges.

Si vous n'y connaissez rien, je vous conseille EasyDiffusion. C'est un package tout prêt pour jouer en local sur son PC, et beaucoup plus puissant que les services en ligne. On commence facile avec la configuration de base, puis on essaye les options, on télécharge d'autres modèles, on fait travailler l'IA de manière localisée, etc.

@TendieMaster69@sh.itjust.works hasn't much time to organize community challenges and wrote : "I am going to be leaving the community challenges here with the end of week 4. Anyone is free to make any challenges of their own!"

I propose new rules for these community challenges to be managed by the community.

• Someone gives a theme.
• Anybody can participate. Anybody can put pictures. There is no limit but the fair play and the community rules (no NSFW, etc.).
• After at least one week and not longer than two, the theme giver chooses one winner with the criterias he wants. It can be based on the explaination of the process, based on the originality, based on the feeling, based on the votes...
• The winner is the new theme giver.

If it's OK with you, I will start with this theme :

"A new sport".
