Nethack! It's basically the original roguelike, if you liked shattered pixel dungeons then you'll like nethack. There are also several other open source rogelikes to check out as well... including the original Rogue!

I'd really like to go this year, but probably won't make it sadly. I was lucky enough to go last year, and I would say it's the best tech conference, despite it being my first.

In any case I'm excited to watch the talks when they get uploaded!

Yeah this is THE best interface for git. Worth getting into Emacs just to use it id say.

Emacs, that's all I need!

I know it's been a joke for as long as I can remember, but I really think this year (or last) was the year of the Linux desktop. All the work done on proton has seemed to bring lots of gamers over who were tired of Windows bs.

I was trying to lookup stuff about mechanical keyboards on ddg earlier today, and several results on the first page were reddit threads. So it can definitely happen with some other hobbies/topics I imagine.

My favorite thing about this is that emacs actually has M-x butterfly now that randomly flips a bit.

It took me a bit to figure out. Open the sidebar, you should see something that says "Anonymous" on top, click that and there is an add account button.
