I noticed that often, when traveling, people from the U.S. will say the state they're from rather than the country. I've often wondered why.

It's one of the theories of the existence of the universe. Yeah, I was surprised about Portugal. I think Argentina is still getting a lot of Venezualanos.

I remember that tree. The sign wasn't so pretty back when I went.

 

I was looking through some old vacation pictures and came across this one. It sure gives a perspective on how big these trees are.
