Syria’s president has reportedly expressed his openness to normalising ties with Israel and joining the Abraham Accords “under the right conditions”, amid the ongoing Israeli occupation of southern Syria and its continuous strikes across the country.

Those conditions being whenever his American masters tell him to lick the boot.

On Friday last week, United States Congressmen Cory Mills of Florida and Marlin Stutzman of Indiana landed in Syria’s capital Damascus to meet Syrian officials, in what was the first official visit by American lawmakers to the country since the fall of the Assad regime on 8 December.

According to Bloomberg, Congressman Mills – who serves on the House Foreign Affairs and Armed Services committees – held a meeting the new Syrian interim President Ahmed Al-Sharaa that same day, in which the former rebel leader told him that the new Syrian administration is interested “under the right conditions” in joining the Abraham Accords.

Jolani supporters speak tirelessly about a Syria for Syrians (really just a Syria for Wahabbi Arabs), but are completely silent or complacent when he capitulates one of Syrian's most deeply held convictions.

The Syrian president was also cited by the US congressman as being open to clarifying plans to address the presence of foreign fighters within Syria – who largely still operate there even after the end of the conflict – as well as to offer guarantees to Israel, which continues to distrust the new Syrian leadership and diplomatically opposes it at the highest levels in appeals to the Trump administration.

So now the mercenaries are a problem? The hordes of foreign funded fighters were previously just lovers of freedom who wanted to liberate the Syrian people out of the goodness of their hearts, but now they're an issue.

Mills told Bloomberg that he will bring US President Donald Trump a letter from his Syrian counterpart Al-Sharaa, the details of which are unknown, and that he will brief the US president and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz on the trip. “I am cautiously optimistic and look to maintain open dialogue,” the congressman said.

Of course he'd be optimistic that theor puppet will do whatever they like him to do.

Brokered by Trump’s first administration back in 2019, the Abraham Accords are a set of agreements to normalise relations with Israel, signed by Arab states including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.

The “right conditions” reportedly referred to by Al-Sharaa were not elaborated on, but if true, they would likely include a withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the southern areas of Syria and the ceasing of Israeli strikes across the country.

Fat chance, Israel is an ever expanding colonial entity, and will never abandon the territory they steal unless they're forced off of it. Will Jolani give up the Golan as well? What a pathetic display of subservience to empire, truly their is nothing more despicable then collaborationist dogs.

Decades of progress are being wiped out by these fundamentalist scum, and I gleefully await the day they're blood runs through the streets of Damascus. When the resistance succeeds die to this clowns inability to maintain stability, I hope they give no quarter to Wahabbis and their ilk.

Astagfurallah,

The level of hatred I have for this Wahabbi scum is incalculable I feel. How can I take any one seriously who supported this fucking backstabbing rat over Assad on the basis of "The Syrian People". What a fucking joke.

The Syrian people are ardently anti-zionist and Pro-Palestine, yet this headchopping bastard has not raised a finger against the Israeli incursion, instead choosing to side with them on the excuse of "rebuilding".

What a load of bullshit. I hope the Syrian people drag these dogs' bodies through the streets of Damascus. What and embarrassment of leadership.

A curse on these fundamentalist filth, a curse on the ignoramuses who couldn't see this obvious outcome in the diaspora, a curse on Assad and his political incompetence to let this happen.

Let there be glory to the resistance, and the people of Syria fighting off the Zionist incursion. Inshallah the enemies of imperialism are victorious in the end.

I do wonder about the timeline that would have been, had Trotsky put his ego aside and devoted himself to the revolution during the Stalin era.

Perhaps I'm just naive, but even if I don't particularly care for Trotsky or Trots in general, I can't bring myself to truly dismiss him entirely. His work for the red army is indispensable as far as I'm aware and for that alone I'm willing to say mu view of him is as an overall net positive to the world.

God I know I'm a fucking nerd by the fact that I thought this was cool as hell, and could comprehend it a little (though I'm much more familiar with Python and industry specific coding, rather then economic analysis.)

I'm still not sure if I wanna try the new Legends. The thing that attracted me to the first fame was the setting, whereas I'm not quite as interested in Kalos setting of ZA. I think I'll wait for reviews to come in and determine if the game play is worth it for me, as I quite enjoyed the first game.

I think I'll probably choose the Unova starter again, but I'd like to see what they turn into, as all of them could become my favorite with the right final evo.

Had no clue what this game was, but he small showcase has really intrigued me. I love the asthetics of it and will be sure to keep track of it for when I have time.

It's got my attention more then Metroid Prime 4, and I'm an avid Metroid fan. (Nothing against MP4 I just really vibe with Witchbrook)

As someone who has been privy to admin negotiations for my university, I have to say they are incredibly obstinate and bad faith to negotiate with. It's like banging your head against the wall until it gives, but until then sustained pressure is required.

I'm heavily doubtful of China doing this at all. I'd imagine they'd see it as a breach of their non-interventionist policy, though if anyone has information that contradicts me then please tell me.

I found this Business Insider Article discussing the possibility of destroying chip factories that was pushed 2 years ago.

Is social credit one of the only jokes libs have?

Luke it's BS that you'd get dog piled for stating a basic fact that social credit, the way Westerners conceive of it, is a complete fabrication.

They could go the Qanon route and just make all their conspiracies about Russia rather then "the deepstate".

Maybe the majority of Americans will have selective amnesia, as they do every few months, but committed libs may as well be a cult just as delusional as MAGA.

Considering there are few Arabic mainstream news networks that aren't funded by US vassels, it's honestly not unexpected that people would be fooled. They have no counter narrative, and never even interact with Shiites unless they are in a country that has a sizable population if them.

It's still infuriating seeing my Sunni companions snub me over a sectarian farce, because they'd rather believe the largely corrupt Gulf funded media over siding with Iran.

Though today the media landscape is quite different. Online media like telegram, whatsapp, and social media have a larger influence then mainstream media I believe, so perhaps these efforts are losing their effectiveness.

Unfortunately, AJ has gained a lot of clout from their Palestine coverage, which they are utilizing to deceive the masses.

I'd say the material reality of Israel's actions would be the largest motivator, but I'm not sure the sectarian hatred can be overcome.
