No house clocks and I don't drive

I haven't used a clock in years that I need to manually reset. Older people don't seem to realize clocks on phones and other devices reset automatically.

He probably literally saved the world, he should really be talked about more

Yes. Any movie or series with a minority member as the protagonist is attacked for being "woke" even if their minority status isn't a plot point. There is no winning, if their minority status is the focus of the movie, people complain that there isn't anything else to the character, if their minority status isn't the focus, people ask why they have to be a minority if it adds nothing to the story.

People complain about remakes changing a character's race and say they should make new and original characters for that race, but when they are featured in new and original stories, people still complain.

I've found that sometimes people take a question as a complaint. I don't understand why either

Because doing good isn't supposed to be with the goal of being rewarded, it's supposed to be to help make other people's lives better. When you help someone by giving them a ride somewhere, it doesn't make much of a difference to the universe but it makes a difference to that person in that moment

Morally, I'd consider it attempted murder but legally, I'd find the idea of someone being prosecuted for it rather silly

In my personal opinion, the show went off the rails in season 2. I would have liked to see the show end with most of the main characters going back to their lives and taking the lessons learned on the island with them. I don't like that most of them die on the island. But I'm clearly not a typical Lost fan. I can't speak for those who liked most of the show and hated the ending.
