Stuff like this has also been implemented using water pumps/valves, and even in Minecraft using redstone.

Or even in Minecraft using water pumps/valves

Fascinating! It never would have occurred to me that the sentence was worded ambiguously until you pointed it out, but your interpretation is 100% valid. English is a strange language.

Yeah, 144hz makes a significant difference for competitive FPS games (especially fast paced ones like Overwatch), but I hardly notice a difference when playing single player or PvE oriented games.

Hell, on some games (e.g. Borderlands 3 and CP2077) I actually prefer to play on my 60hz monitor since a smooth 60hz is much more enjoyable IMO than an inconsistent 100-144hz experience. My computer is admittedly pretty old though.

I personally really love my Babish Chef's knife. I generally avoid buying content creator merch, but all the reviews I read for the knife seemed overwhelming positive for the price point

100% agree. There is tons of delicious vegetarian/vegan food, but vegetarian/vegan substitutions of traditionally meat based dishes range from terrible to just okay.

Carb replacement dishes have the same problem. Spaghetti Squash is delicious when cooked as a vegetable, but throwing Ragu on it and pretending it is pasta is just sad.

Yeah, that seems like a useless benchmark for judging a search engine

It's no different to me than watching one of the movies and seeing the guy from Indiana Jones and Air Force One flying the Millennium Falcon

Right, and in most American dialects they are pronounced the same. Whereas Centimeter is pronounced differently and does not have an "ometer"

because I didn't want a single purpose appliance when I could make it in a pot.

In case anyone else has the same issue, you can make rice just as easily in an electric pressure cooker (e.g. Instapot) which has a much wider use case.

Although, I've never used an actual rice cooker, so I can't testify to the difference in quality
