It's pretty convenient. Now I can take my soldering iron and my power tool battery (with SN USB-C adaptor) and solder wherever the fuck I want
Defectus
I've used wooden cutting boards for about 30 years now. Never thought about that. But it makes sense with all the nooks and crannies in wood. I only wash mine in warm water and some detergent. Don't know if it's true, but I heard that wood has anti bacterial properties. With that being said, I never use raw meat on a wooden board.
In a related note, I saw that in a documentary about some monks in the US that made cheese. Traditionally they always had made it in large wooden tubs. Then they were forced to use stainless tubs because of health codes. After switching every attempt failed because every batch spoiled, probably because there was a good bacterial culture in the wood that helped the batch propagate the right culture, keeping the bad bacteria in check.
I haven't tried it yet :)
Gotta try Ctrl P
Finally got around to playing Disco Elysium. What a game!
Me too. I bought a ugreen Bluetooth to aux adapter. Just a USB stick with wire an 3,5mm headphone jack on. Works great and I payed 20€.
Chargemaster, is that an official title?
Well put. Thanks for the lesson.
Probably different depending on region. Our engagement rings were slate white gold and platinum. When we picked out her wedding ring we first went to jewelers. Everything there was kinda ugly. No elegance, just mass-produced bulky stuff. Unless you want to cough up at least 3000€. So we checked an auction house. Found a gorgeous diamond ring from the 1930s, real elegant and you could see the craftsmanship in every little detail. And I got it for 400€. Then took it to a jeweler to size it and engrave it.
So that could be an option.
I think I still have a recipe book with that name.
Oh man, I totally forgot. In the 90s we had a schoolyard ballgame called Nger. One person in every square. 4 Total. You bounced the ball in another square and if you couldn't catch it, you were the Ngger. It was 3rd to 6th grade.
The lint problem! The first time when my phone started acting up when charging I thought it was the USB jack that have worn out. Then I tried cleaning it with a needle. Still can't believe how much lint can fit in a USB-C socket.
