You mean the guy who called the cave diver a pedo before all this?

And who brought "freedom" to twitter?

And now he's running enforcement on trumps plan to turn the us into a dictatorship.

I don't wish death on him (I don't think he deserves that) but my not liking him happened before the Nazi solute.

Even if you took the Nazi solute out, it's fairly clear he's not a good person and that Tesla is possibly just a way for him to get rich and get attention these days. He might have cared originally, but I feel any illusion of caring is gone, and he is basically Trump 2.

He'd happily remove all workers rights if he was in power, and to get back at his ex wives, possibly eliminate women's rights

They DO though. They sell the default search engine to Google for billions knowing they're profiting from the ads indirectly.. So, they're really just subcontracting it..

I was implying the fact that Apple doesn't need to though, because they monopolise things via the app store, and with other foul play (like requiring additional intervention if you want to run an app from outside the store on Mac). They have full control over monitoring what apps and what kind of apps are popular, so they can target them with their own competitors.

They also have some fairly hefty requirements from developers, and even try to get a cut of subscription fees despite doing nothing.

In the case of Pebble as an example, they delayed the pebble app, launched their own watch at the same time, and because they fucked Pebble over, they never stood a chance.

Just to further things, Republicans have a clear bias. When the head of google was in congress, they weren't really asking questions, but they were incorrectly stating things like Google was tracking their phone anywhere it moves

And yet, Apple seems to dodge every single case. They don't even allow IOS to run on other platforms. Whereas, there are Android phones which are completely degooglified.

I won't be responding again, but you seriously need to consider mental help.

I'm not sure what else you have going on, but there is clearly a lot happening. You clearly need more hobbies or something

Seriously, go join a Meetup, go hiking, etc

You don't need nicotine to relax. You just need something to distract you. And that's coming from someone who used to stress every night...

The way you're responding is a serious concern that makes you sound like a suicide risk honestly. Maybe you need a change of environment

And yet, as per normal, Apple is innocent.. apparently

My comment was based on the parallels which can be drawn between so desperately needing a nicotine "hit", that you're doing it in the least hygenic location, and the similarity with hardcore druggies who snort drugs off the toilet lid, because they can't wait a few hours..

It's further supported by the fact that you've flooded this comment 4x, in a way that suggests this isn't the first time it has been suggested you have a problem... In fact, if anything, it seems you're trying to justify others being forced to breathe small amounts of nicotine by suggesting everyone has a drug problem anyway.

Your comment not only has nothing supporting it, but, despite the attempt, doesn't affect me at all honestly. I run a free hiking group, and the ratings for me as a guide/person are good. I've had maybe a grand total of 3 or 4 glasses of drinks this entire year honestly during special occasions, and most events I go to, nobody even drinks anymore (I'm also trying to lose more weight, and alcohol doesn't help with that).

Just remember, in 20 years time (possibly when you have cancers discovered to be common with vaping years from now) you'll never look back at vaping and think it was worthwhile. You need to ask yourself if they've ever made your life better, or whether they've made tobacco shops lives better only..

On one hand you guys argue "it's just water vapor", on another, you're claiming it's so addictive you can't even take a shit without taking a puff?

Also, weird admission lol. Do you eat lunch in the bathroom too?

Sounds like you have a nicotine one, so it's basically still second hand smoke

Don't bother arguing with that person.. They're a fascist....

A server admin told me they basically report other people they argue with to try to suppress any discussion (they did it to me, and its what fascists do), and I know they're banned from a lot of servers.

Anything you say, will basically just result in them calling you genocidal. And they spend all hours of the day arguing too (so, I suspect they're a lobbyist, or not allowed to work for psychological reasons, which makes sense because they seem to think everyone but themselves love murder). Or, the other possibility, is that they feel guilty and are overcompensating..

ML is likely the only large lemmy server they're safe on with no risk of getting banned

Just letting you know so you don't waste your time

You probably know about it more than me..

I've been onsite plenty of times when they've been cutting that stuff up. Some owners argued better PPE would be enough for the Stonemasons, but it won't protect other people where its being cut.

Furthermore, nobody NEEDS engineered stone anyway, and people tend to take shortcuts when they are in a rush

And its mainly the workers affected. The people selling it are sometimes the ones who aren't even cutting it up (especially because they know there are risks).

Feel bad for my friend though who now has silicosis and no way to cure it.

When it's cut for bench tops and such , that's what exposes people.

Lots of stonemasons here in Australia now have silicosis because of it.

Natural stone has far less issues and there is stone available which doesn't cause it

Business owners were also claiming they weren't given enough time to switch. Everyone including me (I have a friend with silicosis now) has known engineered stone was dangerous to work with for years.

So they had years of warning that it was dangerous But they pretend like it was unexpected.

Here in Australia we just banned engineered stone because it tends to cause silicosis

And yep, lots of shitty business owners whined and a few shit customers on Facebook

Silicosis is what's killing people at the moment, and business owners in particular don't seem to care, despite the fact there's is alternatives

A lot of them also vape in the building when they think they won't get caught

We shouldn't even call him Trump anymore. Gives him too much attention

Call him only by his number: 45 or 47
