That's half the problem most of my subscriptions are news subs. I've unsubscribed from most of them for now.
Unfortunately blocking instances only blocks posts and you still see comments from users there. good advice though just wish the implementatoin of it was better.
I get it. It's a thing that's happening. It's terrible, and I feel for the victims.
It's just that every 3rd comment no matter what sub I'm in is "Jenna's Side this, Jenna's Side that" and finger pointing and name calling.

One of my favorite things from 30 Rock - they didn't force any of the main characters together. They even had Kim Jong Il talk directly to the camera at the end of an episode telling the writers not to overthink it and have Jack and Liz get together.

I've noticed the opposite. I'll use a Micro-USB cable for 1-2 years (sometimes less) and it'll always start having flaky connections requiring more and more jiggles to get working. I've used the same USB-C cable for a bit over 5 years and it works as well as the day I bought it.
My second point stands.
Just because an outlet that spews made up nonsense and outright lies throws you a factual bone once in a while, it doesn't make them credible. Hence the "low credibility "rating.
I know this because they are very hard to keep in a swimming pool.
