I think the biggest surge of app releases is over and most of them are just out now. So many good ones to choose from.

Yeah, I'd like to see a good comparison though. Which are FOSS? Which can block instances? Which one are sexy?

Which can block instances?

Connect can do this.

My favorites are Liftoff and Voyager at the moment. But I hope around a lot just to try them out.

Liftoff is so long in no development stage that meh. Summit, Photon (browser), Thunder, Voyager. Basically everything else is better 😄

There are dozens of apps and most have their own communities that are pretty active. Also, Combustible came out just recently.

I bet it will reactivate the next time Reddit makes a big fuckup again.

I think someone mentioned in here about LiftOff being slow in pushing updates.

Just found out that the LiftOff Dev has a lot planned for the app - but he recently became a dad of twins (yay) - so things are slightly reprioritized for him at the moment.

I guess we can cut him some slack on that great news !

It would be nice if at least someone crosspost news from the respective apps’ communities, personally I don’t wanna follow a bunch of separate communities for this kind of topic.

I have noticed this community is most active when new app releases are out. But when there's new app updates you got to go to their communities to read the patch notes.
