Some of this shit is just true and really show how clueless some people are. China is not all bad.

But in some responses... The social credit had pilot cities. And people were banned for e.g. flying due to social misdeeds, while it seems to be unrelated to the social credit.

The reality that especially Americans will be de-brainwashed by, is that china is not a communistic state. That it isn't all bad. China is much more like america than both pro-china and pro-america people want to accept.

Social misdeeds also remove you from being able to fly in the US, maybe I'm missing something...

In another comment, I have stated that myself.

I am saying that the social credit system was attempted and they had people banned for e.g. flying. Which makes it reasonable to assume that a really bad social credit score would ban you from flying as well. As the social credit system was experimental, and apparently failed, it is impossible to say what it could have been.

When international news talked about the social credit system and it being in pilot cities, they asked themselves what could be and communicate it as such. But people meme'd it and people believed the meme nonsense version.

I'm sorry you haven't paid off 900 in 5 years? That's kinda on you at that point.

They are an American. It's not like 900 dollars is some insurmountable of money to pay off in 5 years. 180 bucks a year. 15 bucks a month.

That's literally a Spotify subscription.

You're assuming they have no other debt, as medical debt doesn't influence your credit and you can't be forced to pay it unlike other forms of debt, making it the last form of debt to pay off (and most have some larger crippling debt that comes first). You're assuming they're paid more than minimum wage (~15k a year), so 1/15 of their yearly income, and that already cannot afford housing and food. You're assuming they have a consistent income and aren't seasonal only.
