I just bought the Pro Lifetime subscription and I’m loving the extra features, specially the ability to group communities from different instances.

The only thing missing from this I think is the ability to assign an icon to the group. Maybe offer a limited set of options from default icons, o even better, use the icon of one of the communities included in said group as the group icon.

That and a way to add or delete extra communities after the initial creation.

Didn’t realise that wasn’t possible yet! Yes, that too please lol.

Can you explain to me, a non-subscribed person (for now), how the grouping works? Is it just like a multireddit? So I can throw all the “technology” communities together in one view? Does it do any more than that?

Never used multireddit so I can’t actually compare it, but yeah, it basically groups the feeds of all the communities you want into one feed you can access via the Communities tab in the navbar bellow. As far as I can tell it doesn’t do anything else.
