I just bought the Pro Lifetime subscription and I’m loving the extra features, specially the ability to group communities from different instances.

The only thing missing from this I think is the ability to assign an icon to the group. Maybe offer a limited set of options from default icons, o even better, use the icon of one of the communities included in said group as the group icon.

Just seems more consistent. Liked the tabbed nature of Apollo, where each navbar button had its own context. Like I am browsing the bean community through the settings tab rn. And would like to easily leave to respond to an incoming message and then come back to where I left off.

Also, the last line of text on a long message seems to be cut off. Particularly when you don’t put in a newline

Should the Basic Theme’s Automatic do just that without having Bean Pro?

I have to force close the app to have the switch happen when I would assume the Automatic setting would have handled it.

It would be nice if, for example, on iOS devices in settings such as Mona for mastodon, we could choose if we want to translate through Google translator or, for example, Apple's own translator, leaving a window that directly translates things for you instead of opening a window to your browser redirecting to Google translator.

I'm not entirely sure how community grouping works, but it could be just the thing to really help Lemmy feel like a more coherent experience.

If you’re accepting theme requests, would you consider something like the reverse of Midnight? An overall light blue look, with dark blue accents. Sort of like this image I borrowed from Etsy. Bean has a lot of great “dark” themes, but I’d say only Notebook qualifies as “light,” other than the standard Light theme, of course. Thanks!

Could you add the option to hide the username in the home feed? Just the community name would be enough for me.

I would be nice to have inline/embedded video playback directly in feeds and/or in the post view (with or without auto play, that could be a user setting).

Currently the experience for me is not ideal, a YouTube video opened in the in-app browser can’t be viewed in landscape mode because the in-app browser locks into portrait mode, which can be a pain, but maybe I’m missing something.

• Fixed the Blur Images setting not saving correctly.
• Fixed “Browser” option not working on post context menu.
• Fixed issue with html entities in push notifications.
• More efficiently calculate drop shadows.

I've not been able to replicate any kind of memory leak or crashing on my side but I did notice the way I was handling shadows may have caused issues. I'm hoping that the changes I've made today will improve performance.

I've also started work on messaging and that will be coming in the next couple of days as well as some refinement on the inbox and push notifications (it's glitchy and annoying me at the moment).

Super minor but it would be nice to be able to hide an individual post, I’m fed up of seeing this pinned post every time.

iPhone 11 and up to date I get random crashes when scrolling. Sometimes preceded by slowdowns, lag and noticeable warming. Bean specific problem (trued to replicate with Voyager beta and web app), regardless of account used. Seems quicker when encountering multiple NSFW tags in feed and even quicker when set to be unblurred (blur setting also resets after crash). Crash often takes out any background activity (music or podcast playing) and reverts to lock screen. This hints towards memory leaking

When opening a link with video content in the Bean browser, if the page is closed whilst viewing video, the sound of the video continues to play.
