Two more days at the beach with friends and them hoping to go back to work with a little less negativity. Looking forward to going to vote with my family Monday night.
The same thing we do every week Pinky.....
Clean and play clean and play
Valent is a KDE Connect Client for GTK desktops and I want to see if I can get it to work with my living room PC. It's basically so I can use my phone as a mouse.
I'm also reinstalling all my Starred Valley mods on my Steam Deck after I installed Bazzite GNOME on it. There's about 50 I think and there's a lot of dependencies that apparently prevent me from just downloading them all from my Nexus Mods download history page and raw dogging them into my mods folder.
Proper weekend activity
Don't think you need the dash in the word weekend.. :)
I plan to go through https://github.com/Dhghomon/easy_rust?tab=readme-ov-file because I have been trying for years to grok rust and it still feels difficult. I'm hoping by going though this resource, I will finally understand it.
But with my luck, it's probably going to be just easy stuff I already know. It feels like the difference between these resources and some actual rust codebase is huge.
Well spotted, I never noticed before!
Good luck with Rust!

The leaves are turning up in New England. We're going to go for a drive, a short hike or two, and stop by any roadside shop we see selling fall goodies like apple cider. And then home in the evening to watch some horror movies. 'Tis the season.
