Currently my setup is rtx 3070 paired with Samsung Odyssey G7 27" 1440p@244hz monitor. I'm pondering about upgrading to a bigger monitor, 32" 4k same brand... I guess a gpu upgrade would be required and thinking about either rtx 4080 or rx 7900 xtx (still need to research which is better for gaming).

I wonder though, is going from 2k to 4k as noticeable upgrade as going from 1080 to 2k? Feels kind of wasteful to get rid of my current setup this early in its lifespan (gpu and monitor is only 2 years old)
