I wanna make the most of what I've got, but I don't have the ear to tell which is the most accurate sounding, only that they're slightly different. Using a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact for the case/front panel, an ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming 4 ATX LGA1700 motherboard, and a Dell G2723HN Gaming Monitor connected to an RX 6800 XT with DisplayPort 1.2.

From my understanding, the most important thing here is the DAC, so it would be a matter of whether the Motherboard, Front Panel, or Monitor has the best DAC. Followed by a matter of distance of the analog signal, meaning the motherboard and monitor would be better as they don't have an extra cable to go through. Is this correct? The digital signal is the same from my motherboard as from my graphics card DP port?
