Currently, my setup comprises an Intel 9600K CPU coupled with an RTX 2060 (not the Super variant). My upgrade strategy involves a phased approach, commencing with the graphics card. I've set my sights on the RTX 4080. Acknowledging that my CPU may serve as a bottleneck for the new card is clear to me but I'll be using my 1440p monitor for the time being, I anticipate it should be fine in the interim, until I eventually revamp my Mobo+CPU, in about a year from now, when I intend to go 4K.

The primary utilization of this rig encompasses gaming and dabbling in AI, stable diffusion + local GPT. My preference initially leaned towards the 4070Ti; however, I'm cautious of potential VRAM limitations down the line with its 12GB configuration.

Any other caveats or pitfalls to consider, or perhaps even another recommended approach?
