I was not expecting giveaways on Lemmy!
Honestly I haven't seen much of this game (having a PhD to finish and all, I haven't allowed myself to hahaha), but I am hopeful that it will allow me to try to solve conflicts with diplomatic and out of the box thinking instead of just combat, and having it feel like I haven't cheated myself out of content: it bothers me that I can't avoid conflict in most games without feeling like I'm missing out, and Star Trek is the perfect IP to make it work.
Thank you for the giveaway! Best of luck!
Edit: Is this valid for all regions?
yep, Steam keys are valid in all regions! good luck!
Always love a good, well thought out story based game. Looking forward to one set in my favourite universe! 😍
I'm just really looking forward to that optimistic feeling of looking into a bright future. It's what I always loved trek for and from the looks of it, Resurgence captures it.
God I've been so excited about this! Me and my fiancé love to play story focused games together and deep dive into our choices... We also love to watch Star Trek together. We watched all of DS9, SNW, and LD together (and not quite all of the others but we've at least started each series). This is a perfect merge of what we're doing! A good Star Trek story focused game!
Ever since I saw that it was launched I was excited! Then I saw it was an epic store exclusive and was sad... THEN I saw it was coming to steam and I was excited again!
I can't properly explain how much I want to sit with my fiancé and argue over which dialogue option is best
I'm looking forward to having a Star Trek game that sounds like it has the feel of Star Trek! I've been waiting for the Steam release, and I'm curious to see what it's like.
I want to play a new fun Star Trek game! And this one fits the bill nicely especially because previous games made by these devs were hours of enjoyment. I trust in their ability to tell a great story!
New stories and new experiences! Thank yall for doing this :)
I’m always stoked for a new TellTale title!
I always want more Trek!
I'm looking forward to a free copy of Star Trek: Resurgence.
I'm looking forward to a Star Trek game that captures what I love most about Trek: the story. The tales of black and white not being black and white and the decisions that have to be made.
And starships and lasers.
I always liked the idea of away missions. Beaming down to a different planet every time and exploring all of them sounds so exciting!
I love a good story driven Star Trek game. And it even has one of my favorite characters in it 🖖
I'm looking forward to seeing how the game uses the rich lore of Star Trek to craft a compelling narrative. That, and the soundtrack sounds awesome!
I can't wait to give this a try! I love star trek games.
I've been most looking forward to finally enjoying a new generation of star trek! I've only recently had the chance to get into star trek, so I'm not quite as big of a trekky as lot of you, but boy do I sure love a moopsie...
I like Star Trek. I like video games. I like Star Trek video games?
I didn't realize Resurgence was a thing until now, so that's awesome!
A solid story driven experience would be great. Speaking from experience with Star Trek Online, it would be totally fine to see focus put on one style of gameplay rather than trying a few and getting a mediocre result for each.
Like many here, I'm also looking forward to a good story driven Star Trek game. It feels like it's been so long since a proper one came out, and I have high hopes that this one will combine story with great gameplay. Definitely excited for it!
I would be very excited to explore the in-game locations. Hopefully feel really immersed in the universe! And as /u/AlolanYoda@mander.xyz mentioned, I hope it will be possible to solve conflicts through diplomacy. That has always been Star Trek's biggest draw for me, that it isn't just about combat and fighting.
I'm looking forward to a new format of star trek story!
I love almost all things Star Trek, so new stories are genuinely what I'm most looking forward to!
A rich, cerebral story in my absolute favorite universe. Yes, please.
dat ost looks hot. i love a good steam album to bop to while im learning a new game.
I'm definitely curious to see how it ties into the ST:Resurgence comic from last year! Plus the cameos!
Yes please!!!!
I have absolutely been waiting for this to be released to Steam.
Finding games that I can share with our teens on Steam is challenging but important for keeping connected. So, we’re often looking for games that appeal to more than one of us. When we buy it’s 2, 3 or 4 keys. Having one for free to start would be great.
Resurgence really looks to offer the kind of role playing that makes sharing the journey in parallel fun.
I've always loved Star Trek and had a blast with Elite Force. I'm really excited for Resurgence because it looks like it's going to have a much deeper story. Can't wait to explore the USS ship and see all the new features!
