Absolute disaster for AM.
Haas is a total clown show. 🤡
Lance's risk was not worth it
Agreed, that was just silly.
At least use the softs if you're going on slicks on a damp track.
It was never declared wet, so mediums were mandatory
How on earth was that not declared wet!?
Max knew what he was doing, unbelievable
Can't believe how close PIA was. My opinion of him is really starting to flip this season.
He needs to work on his race pace before I start to rate him highly, but he's definitely getting to grips with this McLaren in qualifying.
Can't wait to see the sprint, hoping for some rain too.
Maybe we’ll have some more light rain to stir things up a little.
So it's your fault, then. Only thing out there is the sweepers.
Haha. I said light 😅
I completely messed up today and thought SQ started now, which fortunately for me, it does! 😂
Is there a comprehensive overview on how tyre allocation works on sprint weekends compared to regular weekends? For instance, I've read on Wikipedia that drivers must use a new set of medium tyres in each of the first two Sprint Quali segments. So do they get more/different tyres as usual?
An infographic about what tyre is available at what point (and which tyres have to be returned) would be nice.
Section 30.5d of the Sporting Regulations:
Normal weekend (13 dry, 4 inters, 3 wets):
- 2x Hard
- 3x Medium
- 8x Soft
Sprint weekend (12 dry, 4 inters, 3 wets):
- 2x Hard
- 4x Medium
- 6x Soft
They get additional inters if practice/qualifying sessions are declared wet and they use a set.
Thanks!
