I really wish Niantic was better at capitalizing on the potential of AR and georgraphical games. Every game they've produced has essentially been a reskin, and they've gotten increasingly grindy.

Written as a person who put years into Pokemon GO, before dropping it as it really didn't add anything to my life, nor was it overly fun to "play" anymore.

I totally agree. All their games feel like they just slap IPs ontop of a standard mtxn-stuffed mobile game - one that's had AR lazily tacked on

I'm from a 3rd world country and my family doesn't have enough letters. Please send help

I feel the same, I recently dropped PoGo and am still feeling salty. I loved it and didn’t begrudge pouring time. I admit I probably listened to one too many critical voices but it did start feeling like a job. I might give PB another go, it was fun and harmless and worked in the background, nice little idler
