Do they have tariffs on second hand goods from Asia being imported to sell to poor Americans who cant afford local?

the kicker will be when new-from-China plus 100% tariff is still cheaper than American made …

Exactly. US manufacturing will have to gut wages in order to compete. Hope they enjoy their $12/ dozen eggs. After rent and insurance and petrol, they may not even be able to afford those imported Chinese goods either. Outside of the US bubble though...

There might be a loophole if it's declared as e-waste.
