A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

They are delicious. But they tend to stick to your gums.

Does this mean that Smurfs are made from hooves and horns?

Those are thickened with starch. They are vegan as far as I know.

They are suspiciously labelled vegetarian, not vegan. And contain: beeswax

That explains it. My vegan friends love bees but consider it ethical enough to eat their products as they have an apiary at home.

Are Smurfs called Schlumpfs in Germany?

[–] bjoern_tantau@swg-empire.de 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Schlümpfe

The singular is "Schlumpf".

They're "Les Schtroumpfs" in French.

I think it's either Gargamel or Gurgelhals, depending if it's newer or older, from the tv series or from the comic books.

The tv show uses Gargamel.

The older comics use Gurgelhals. The newer ones use both, depending on the publishing house.
