Good to know - thanks for the feedback!
So the Quest 2 works to this day with those DNS blocks? You use SteamLink now i assume? Or you ever got ALVR working?
When looking up the Valve Index i don't see that many issues with SteamVR on Linux?
Steamvr on linux seems nice if you have the index, but is hit or miss with other headsets, at least that's what ive heard
Good to know
LVRA has a great table listing compatibility.
I got rid of the Q2 a couple months ago but never had issues.
I used Virtual Desktop, not SteamLink
You don't see a lot of issues because the few people who ever used SteamVR on Linux ran away screaming and never came back¹
¹I made that up, but it's bad
Can you play VR games in Virtual Desktop? Like BeatSaber for example?
Yes, works best of the solutions I've tried
Oh i didn't know that!
How did you find the latency?
Best of the solutions I tried (steam link for quest, ALVR, oculus link)
Awesome, i will get the chance to take a Q3 home from a friend and test it out. Thanks!
