Hi, how do people get coins ? Do they have to buy it like using your real money?
Yeah, you get them with Premium I think. I never bought it, but someone one gave me an award that came with 700 coins and a month of premium. It was interesting going into the Premium only subs, but nothing special enough spend money on in my eyes. I still have the 700 coins, at least for now, since I didn't see the point in spending them before all this and I don't see the point of going back.
So, basically, people paid reddit real money for fake coins and then reddit took the fake coins away but kept the real money?
That's pretty fucking hilarious, honestly. I hope people ditch that site.
If you want to score some Lemcoins to use on here just let me know. I'll send you a bitcoin link that will allow you to buy them while they are still cheap and Lemmy is on the ground level.
