I broke 6 or 7 pairs of headphones in the last 10 years or so. All of them where over ear headphones, 1 creative hyperx (cable); 2 creative omega wireless (hing both times); 2 Shure srh440 (hinge and headband)... At the moment I'm rocking KZ ZSN pro for 3 years and damn they're still working. What I want to say, don't look for "gaming" headphone... You will throw away your money even the good old indestructible ones, have newer, way cheaper revisions of them.

IEMs are good for gaming. I personally have some moondrop arias but turns out I don't really like sticking things in my ears. I use an AKG K371 with a type c to 3.5 mm jack adapter. It's a little bassy but compared to all the normie headphones on the market, it's not even as close to that bassy.
