I HATE that they are always shilling for these events.

"It really was a great show here in Saudi Arabia"

You never hear that during the more traditional races. Fuck sports washing.

Not entirely true as the Zandvoort race also got many praises for “setting the bar” for the whole race weekend as a spectacle which is a pretty old track.

But I’d rather see a good race in Spa/Suzuka without a show than a “great show” with a boring race but sadly it seems to go in the more show-direction. However in my opinion this Saudi Arabian track is pretty cool. And when you are at the track itself it is pretty neat to have great things to do or see before or after the race.
