Oh, duh. It's similar though:

The link is a "permalink" to the comment on my instance (as I see it).

The fediverse icon is a permalink to the comment on the commenter's instance (which in this case would be yours at latte.isnot.coffee. You can see this if you hover over each one, or right click and select "copy link" and paste it somewhere.
