These are from the inbox view, right? Let me know if you see them next to each other elsewhere.

The paperclip will take you to a "context view" of the reply. The fediverse icon takes you to the content on its native instance (which may or may not be your own).

Oh, duh. It's similar though:

The link is a "permalink" to the comment on my instance (as I see it).

The fediverse icon is a permalink to the comment on the commenter's instance (which in this case would be yours at latte.isnot.coffee. You can see this if you hover over each one, or right click and select "copy link" and paste it somewhere.
