why are german private trackers such a mess? (lemmy.ml)

I highly appreciate all trackers and the work everyone puts into it but the longer I'm part of the system, the longer I see that nothing really changes (2/3 years time horizon). Most websites are old, on 9 out of 10 trackers it's incredibly difficult (time intensive) to upload torrents. Innovation and rules are also very slow

OP was asking for reasons why German torrent trackers are so slow to get new stuff and I just explained the reason why people are not using torrents as much here

Wow. I guess I framed my question as wrong as possible.

I meant the "websites" not the torrents nor the content.
