I think at this point the distinction between the two is going to evaporate. It’s all Lemmy under the hood.

You literally son of your father, yet, you are not your father.

Does kbin follows new versions of lemmy? If yes, then it would be the same. If no, then both lemmy and kbin have common ancestor, and yet they are different, and as time goes on, the differences will be more and more. The common part is the protocol and the fediverse.
