Toy on Head (lemmy.world)

I sat a toy on her head and she let it sit there for a long while. She didn't seem to mind or even notice it.

My cat rejects me taking my hand back.

Once I was watching my brother play counter strike and he would turn away in game and irl whenever he threw a flash bang.

He didn't even realize he was doing this until I pointed it out.

Never played it either. Looks like it asked random trivia questions that I guess kids wouldn't know.

For anybody thinking this new game will be anything like XCOM prepare for disappointment.

Jake has previously said that he is leaving turn-based tactics games behind.

And his tweet announcing Midsummer even says "it's going to seem very different from what I've done before."

edit: There is some good news for turn-based tactics fans. Another studio founded by former XCOM devs is focusing on turn-based games.

As @bleistift2@feddit.de commented:

Remember, kids, that pet’s names are often used for passwords. Don’t share sensitive information.

That said, I have no reason to believe that OP is trying to crack accounts. They seem to be a normal Lemmy user.

Honestly, I thought the "Fuck the state" was the original until I searched for the artist to credit them.

This is why I hide my paper towels in a cabinet.

She does! She has a few puzzle toys that I switch between using each day.

She's a very smart cat, so I try to give her plenty of stimulation.

I just get close enough and she does the boop herself.

This is the map from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Not Links Awakening as a few others have said.

Reminds me of when I implemented content aware scaling for computer graphics in college. I used it to make this monstrosity:

Received a report saying:

please allow the community to vote on dead pet posts.

The community already votes on dead pet posts via upvotes/downvotes. And the results are largely in favor of allowing these posts.

I understand that death is a tough subject for some people. These sort of posts make me tear up too. But our beloved furry friends are not immortal. They all die eventually.

If this community can serve as a place to help people grieve when they lose their pets then I'd say it's worth making a few people uncomfortable.

Rest in peace, Izumi. You were a beautiful cat that was clearly well loved in life.

Mine got a mushroom scratching post.
