I started my third playthrough of dragonage inquisition this week. I'm playing a male Inquisitor for the first time so I can romance Dorian. I really really enjoy DA:I, I never played any of the earlier games but even without context the gameplay loop and getting to know the characters is always fun. I do feel like I make the same choices every time I play though. I struggle to have video game characters make choices I wouldn't personally make.

Yeah, I do think I would have had a better visual experience if I had played it on my PC, but I'm a handheld gamer at heart. I don't remember if I experienced crashes, but I had to turn my graphics settings down a lot in order to play at any consistent frame rate on the deck. That said I am not complaining, HZD regardless of how it looked, was the best RPG experience I've had in years.
I agree, I played hzd on the steam deck and it looked terrible. the game was still really fun, but I'm hoping the sequel is ported better
I came here to say Magicka. my husband and I really enjoyed those games and I think the sense of humor in them is amazing. they had some really stellar jokes.
my husband and I are playing Diablo 4 still. we made our third each character a few days ago and are enjoying the seasonal content. my best friend and I are currently doing her first playthrough of all the kingdom hearts games. it was my first time beating KH1 myself. i finally made it to a world in kingdom hearts 2 after the endless Roxas prologue. we only get a couple hours every weekend, but it's been really fun. and in between on my own I'm playing pikmin 4.
idk if it's important to you, but if you play on steam you can get mods that do a better job of gender swapping the mc and allow for gay marriage. rf5 was the first rf game to allow gay relationships. i would still recommend rf4 over rf5 though.
have you played rune factory? it's my favorite of the farming simulator genre. I found Stardew a little plot lite for my tastes when I played it. I feel like after I finish the community center, why would I keep playing? rune factory 4 for the switch or PC is imo the perfect game.
I've been really enjoying My Time at Sandrock. it was in early access for a while and just had their 1.0 release a few weeks ago. I played and enjoyed the first game they made, My Time at Portia, but Sandrock is an improvement in every way.
It's a stardew valley-esque game with a focus on crafting rather than farming. the story and lore is more extensive than I expected and the writing for the characters is also impressive to me. I'm mainly a cozy gamer so Sandrock is a perfect game for me.
