When I first started programming a few years ago, I used Python's default IDLE. After a few months of that I switched to Atom (RIP), and shortly after moved to VS Code. I've stuck with VS Code since.

Right now is a great time for PC gaming as the Steam summer sale is happening! If you enjoyed Portal, you might enjoy other Valve games like Half Life. At the moment, you can pick the franchise up for a few dollars.
What is PSA? Can I get a link pls?
I'm a hobby dev (for now), and work almost exclusively by myself so very rarely.
Here are the plugins I use:
- React Developer Tools (useful for developing with React)
- Ublock Origin
- Return Youtube Dislike
- SponsorBlock
- Grepper (shows convenient code snippets when I Google stuff)
- Cold Turkey Blocker (I use this to to block websites/apps when I need to focus)
- Shinigami Eyes (highlights queer friendly and anti queer subreddits/users/facebook pages/group differently)
I think so, but I'm not sure. If you liked those, you might also enjoy Goodnight Julia. That's the only other proper song I can think of from the Cowboy Bebop OST.
Fallen Angel by King Crimson. I've been getting into prog rock recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijhQTqymNMk
I'm almost done reading "A Common-Sense Guide to Data Structures and Algorithms: Level Up Your Core Programming Skills". I think it's a pretty great beginner resource and as a self taught dev, it's helped me fill some gaps in my knowledge.
