Acronyms are words. They're words formed out of the initial letters of a phrase or name.

Why would that happen?
People who used Google Talk didn't use it as a stepping stone to XMPP. They stayed on Google Talk.
we need to go and fight Big Tech.
Fight them by...doing exactly what they want?
Just because people learn that way as a child, that doesn't mean that it's the best way to learn.
