That kind of ssl interception would normally be quite visible without your client device having the pineapples cert in your devices trust store, or am I wrong?

Just out of curiosity: is it wise to keep you MFA within your password safe? Like is that not the opposite of multi factor? I'm no troll, I'm seriously uninformed.

That escalated quickly ^^

At least one person seems to get my dilemma. Thank you. I'm really looking for help on this one. Just to find a way to solve this riddle for better understanding.

Talking on the internet is such a weird thing. Where did I say that those two things are the same? Did you not hear my cry for help in the statement above? Instead of going for the attack?

You do know that this comment could be posted word for word on a right wing post and everybody would agree with it just as well? The term "critical thinking" alone is so worthless, not to mention "common sense". Some people justify ancient aliens with that phrasing. I don't mean to criticize you, I just have this thought so often when scrolling through this polarized world... And I really don't know what to do about it. Everything feels so lost.

Of only this was true in the general way you wrote it

The title made it sound a little more interesting then it actually was, but sometimes stories of great impact are very short and unexeptional

I came here to find this comment. Moderation and censorship are so profoundly confused with each other so often. And without any moderation, bots and scam will take over every kind of content eventually.

The latter is true unfortunately. Because of understandable security reasons they gave up the SMS integration about a year ago since it's unencrypted and not a good fit to the security standards of signal.

Until there is some form of open interconnection between messaging apps there will be no end to WhatsApp.

Don't get me wrong, signal is a great alternative, but it does not achieve more then it's core value of security, and this will never be enough.
