Ricky Skaggs got his start playing music early, like 6 or 7 years of age playing for Bill Monroe (widely considered the grandfather of bluegrass) . He played for Flatt and Scruggs (bluegrass royalty, if you will), Emmylou Harris, and others. He was the producer on Dolly Parton’s country comeback album White Limozeen. He is credited as the pioneer of ‘neotraditional’ country music.
I grew up listening to Clinch Mountain Boys, The Country Gentlemen, and Ricky Skaggs as a solo artist.
Probably not a lots of Skaggs fans here but he is a legend amongst mandolin players, bluegrass lovers, and country music fans.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my Ricky Skaggs tedX talk.
Chapos are efficient. Why post a paragraph when one big emoji works?
